I caught these horses relaxing as the morning rays heated up the cool desert floor from the nippy evening before. This was on the last day I visited Nevada earlier this month with Anne (the horse whisperer) my sister in law.
What I thought was interesting is that all three of these individuals are studs…..the pecking order appeared well established at least for the morning. The bay horse shows the scars from I assume the big buckskin on his hind quarter.
