Last year Maddie & I traveled to Greece for her graduation trip. We landed in Athens as the protests started to erupt on Symtagma Square against the austerity measures. Later today, Kelly will leave for an A&M sponsored leadership conference that starts in Athens and will tour part of Greece over the next two weeks. She will meet with different representatives of the government which should be interesting in light of their recent elections and possible withdrawal from the EU. We hope nothing but the best for their country and an expedient resolution to the dilemmas as they have far reaching impact with a ripple effect globally.
These are some images that I have saved from last year’s trip to Athens. Godspeed to Kelly and safe travels… may she learn much and represent the US with grace.
