A few of my favorite images from Istanbul last year while visiting with Maddie. The opening image was one of the best from the trip, it was taken in the Basilica Cistern which is actually below the old city of Constantinople and the history behind it is fascinating. This ancient wonder alone is worth an adventure to Istanbul, but there is so much more to see including the Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. The highlight of course was the people we got to meet along the way…
Captured with: nikon D700, 14-24mm, 85mm. The last image is my favorite.

Hey…thanks for the uploads. I loved the Hagia Sophia interior shot
admin - Efe – I agree, the last image is the best… It is interesting because as I look back, I just don’t have that many really stand out images as I should have from this trip. I think that I was trying to more unwind from work and sometimes my perspective gets a bit warped from it all… can’t wait to go back when I have more time to explore and spend it visiting & eating, with a friend like you!
Parkinson Sniper - Mr. Edwards, you are always welcome here. I’ll be happy to guide a photographer like you, all around the city. Thanks for the post again…
