Bokeh and a Peacock

I just couldn’t resist. Something about peacocks gets my creative juices flowing. They have to be one of the gaudiest birds around. But damn, they are sure photogenic!

I caught this fellow all in a fluff over a nearby female….hated to interrupt, but he didn’t even notice me in the distance. One track mind I suppose.

It was an interesting angle, I knew I’d catch the early morning light over his shoulder and the shallow dof would really make it dance…lucky indeed.

I’m off to a conference for the rest of the week in New Orleans. Just happens to be Jazzfest weekend as well. Funny how these conferences get scheduled, eh? The Big Easy is always an interesting place to explore through a lens at all hours of the day/night.

Back in a couple.
